The books
Story-driven science for ages 3–12, written by a water engineer and illustrated by Arman Ghanfili. Both are available in paperback on Amazon.
Ripple’s Water Quest
When a magical crown begins to lose its shine, Ripple sets off on a journey through underground aquifers, flowing rivers and lakes, and the ocean. Along the way he meets new friends and learns how water is collected, cleaned, and protected before it reaches our homes.
From filtration to disinfection, the story turns a complex system into something kids can follow. It pairs well with drinking water plant tours, Drinking Water Week events, and classroom science lessons.

Ripple’s Magical Wastewater Treatment Plant Adventure
Ripple loves splashing in puddles and rolling in mud. When he’s invited to Sparkle’s birthday party at the fanciest water park in town, there’s a catch: only clean droplets are allowed.
Guided by Hydro, a wise water operator wizard, Ripple dives into bubbling basins, swirling clarifiers, and the machines that turn dirty water into clean water. By the end, kids see wastewater treatment as part of the cycle that keeps rivers, lakes, and families safe.
