For schools & libraries

Ripple gives teachers and librarians an easy way to teach where water comes from, how it’s treated, and why it matters, through a story kids want to hear.

Why it matters

When Nikki surveyed more than 200 K–5 students, none could explain that wastewater is treated and returned to rivers and creeks, only about 10% knew water comes from lakes or oceans, and none knew what an aquifer was.

Ripple is built to close that gap early, and kids carry what they learn home to their families.

Author visits

Nikki reads Ripple aloud and talks with students about real water and wastewater work, including what engineers and operators do.
